Sawadeeka, BKK - Pattaya!

1:54 am

So, I'm finally updating on my 6D5N BKK - Pattaya trip. But because I'm running out of time so I shall make it short and sweet. Let the picture do the talking. Afterall, a picture speaks a thousand words. ;)

We reached there really early, left our luggage in the hotel and headed straight to chatuchak. Since chatuchak is a MUST GO (for me at least) and since we only arrived on a sunday this probably means I can't hold back on whatever that I want to buy. Hah!

How to miss out the all time favorite coconut ice cream over there right? But anyway, I didn't manage to eat it when I go BKK last year. I was still healing my hangover somehow since I was drunk the night before but the ice cream taste really good still. Heh! And I had all time favorite corn on my ice cream! :D

Sui chyuen is my shopping and camwhore partner for the whole trip. We take photo almost everywhere and we are just busy looking for shopping malls to shop when we reach BKK. Hahahaha! I spent like 5000 bhat about SGD$208.333333 on my first day. And that's almost 1/3 of my money gone.
Yesssss, this is what shopping do to me.

We headed to the vintage&retro market at night and it was really a surprise for me. Despite the fact that this is the first time I been there, the things there are really nice. :) The food looks tempting too (except for scorpion, worms and etc..)

I really like the idea of using the alcohol bottle and turn it into light. Its really unique. I wish I could buy one back but to be frank, I don't know where can I put it so i gave it a miss. But I thought it was really creative. :)

They had henna stall there so I went to try it out to see how will it looks like if I ever have a tattoo. It turns out pretty well but sadly it fade off after one training when I came back singapore. ):

Second day morning is a visit to Ancient City. Basically is like a heritage tour that introduce to the local  about the history of Thailand. Bicycle was free so we had a pretty good work out under the sun for like 3 hours around the whole park.

There were many beautiful sculpture. And I gave up reading their sign board after a while. I woke up late that day and didn't had breakfast so I had to bear with it until lunch time. Probably that explain why I didn't bother to read too. Hahahahahahahahaha!

We had all sorts of nonsense in the park. And this is just part of it. Hah!

Inside the park there is a mini floating market so we had our lunch in there. And yup, swear is damn chill there with the wind, the peaceful environment and probably because is a weekday so is not very crowded, except for tourist.

So the rest headed to temple while me and sui chyuen went to MBK to shop. We met up with the rest at chinatown but since we are early so we pop by one of the stall and have bird nest before the rest reached.

The bird nest there is heaven please~

3rd day: Pattaya! Woke up damn early and sat a 2 hours coach ride to Pattaya. We had a hard time looking for our hotel. So after settling our stuffs we headed off to the beach! Its about half an hour boat ride to the next island?

Swear that the sea there is really blue in color. Finally experienced what is blue sea. HAHAHAHA! but the things there are pretty overpriced.

Sadly the sun that day wasn't really very hot so my sun tanning session with sui chyuen kinda failed in the end. But anyway, I went to parasail after that! Sat speed boat with yvonne, angela and heng xuan! Damnnnnnnn fun! :D

Parasail was a really good experience I swear! Went up in the sky and although there isn't any nice view or something but the feeling being up there was really really really great!

But it was only a short 5 minute rounding around the area with the speedboat then we landed. But that few minutes was really great just a little too costly. ): Especially after being so broke for buying so much stuffs.

We had pizza hut for dinner that day. LOL. And went to roam around to take a look at the pubs there trying to see whether is there any "interesting" situation. And yes, to my surprise, there's a lot. Hahahahahahaha! Overheard this conversation among 2 tourist and the guy wanted to "treat the girl to a drink" REALLY LAUGH LIKE MAD.

Second day in Pattaya we actually gave the rest of the water sports a miss and headed to central festival. The largest mall in Pattaya. We spent almost the whole afternoon there while the rest climb up to another mountain and pray.

Headed back to Bangkok at about 4pm.

And since we reached there late, we decided to head straight to night market at Khao San Road. We wanted to try out this famous Pad Thai stall but it was closed when we reached there.
So we spent most of the time braiding all our hair and do henna.

Mine took up about 30 mins because it was damn complicated. But I was damn in love with the henna. ;)

5th day! Headed off to Platinum mall. As usual. And spent like 3 hours going round and round the mall trying to get something.
So shopping queens, Sui Chyuen & I, went almost every floor and had a good search for clothes. Hahahahahahah!

Dinner at some famous chicken rice stall after that. The food was really not bad. The rice taste pretty different. Other than that it was fine. But quite a good try anyway. :)

And since is our last night in bkk, how can we miss out the party scene there!
Well, we headed to RCA but RCA was too strict. 20 years old and above ):
Big problem here. In singapore, I'm just dying to be 18 but bangkok don't even bother looking at people who are younger than 20. That's pretty sad.
We still manage to find clubs that don't check though.

I don't get it how come I'm so lucky. But there is someone birthday that day.
AND THE DJ PLAY BIRTHDAY SONG AGAIN. BLOODY HELL!
The exact same thing happened in Vietnam and I was damn freaking pissed off.
I think having to party in singapore for a while, sometimes you can't just stand other country's style.
It was a eye opener though.

Just.... not my type.

So, MBK for our last stop before we head off to airport. Was busy with getting Naraya pouch and all. something that cannot be missed out for sure. Shopped around and get the last few phone accessories

Thank god my phone is white in color. Now my phone look like a panda and wheeeeeee I'm damn happy! :D

Headed off to airport since angela and hengxuan's flight is earlier than ours. We took scoot back while they book tiger. Hahahaha! Kinda miscomm I guess. But anyway it marks the end of our 6D5N trip in thailand.

And the reason why I always love window seats! :D

Alright, that's about it!
Have been busy with NUS invitational recently. Busy with our own matches and the guy's.
And this whole holiday is coming to an end. Damn.... quite sick to think about it.
Sighhhhh...
Till then!
